Icelandic lichen
The Icelandic lichen is a lichen species typical of mountain areas in Iceland ; it grows up naturally in the Nordic countries on the bark of some trees, on the ground among moss and grass or on the rocks.
It is rich in active ingredients : minerals, fatty acids , vitamins and essential oils that defend the body against the risk of colds, bronchitis, asthma and infections.
It is used in creams, lotions, detergents and,for the presence of usnic acid, it is an excellent antiseptic, useful for all impurities. Finally on hair it acts with antiseptic, emollient, soothing and purifying properties.
